One of our volunteer organizers has a polite chat with a man at the Santa Barbara Farmers Market during the 30-day outreach tour.

Stop Having Kids Is Well-Funded Refuted

It would be ideal if this misconception page could be removed one day, but for right now SHK is not a very well-funded movement and never has been since its inception in 2021. SHK has been a mix of self-funding, donations, and crowdfunding campaigns (3 successful GoFundMe advertising campaigns so far). All of the SHK organizers are volunteers who have paid for most of their outreach materials and travel expenses. The majority of miscellaneous donations have gone towards developing the website more than anything else, which is still largely a work in progress.

Our largest donation to date covered our first for 4 billboards (3 medium-sized and 1 large) and the remainder helped out our two volunteers who did a 30-day SHK west coast outreach tour. There is so much that would be lovely to afford (e.g. writers, translators, search engine optimization, advertising in cities like Austin and San Francisco). Some people have accused us of being tied to people and organizations such as Bill Gates, World Economic Forum, and The Rockefeller Foundation. There is no evidence to back such claims up, but we'd gladly accept money from any of these examples or anyone else if there were no strings attached. We have never received any contributions from any billionaires or individuals and organizations tied to population and society control or anything else period. All of our donations have come from “regular” individuals and we don’t know anything about most of our donors besides the fact that they support what we are doing.

As long as we don't have to make any compromises and sell our souls we will gladly accept donations from anyone and in any amount. SHK hopes to become an official 501(c)(3) non-profit in 2023.
